I adored this author’s voice from the very beginning and laughed out loud at the crazy predicaments she put her characters in. ‘Crazy Davy’ as Jack takes to calling her, is beautiful, strong, driven and slightly eccentric which gets her into all kinds of trouble. She is also vulnerable, making her easily relatable to most women. Jack is all too easy to love. Much more sensible, his world is turned on its head the moment he gets brained by Davina when she thinks he is trying to break into her home – and nothing is the same for him ever again. These two share a wonderful chemistry which doesn’t let up from the very first meeting through to the final sigh-inducing last page.
